Why does the value in "Transfer" fields disappears when I tab to it.

This is a known bug that popped up in an update this summer. You can read about it, and some of the workarounds people have been using, in this thread.  It's surprising a bug like this hasn't been fixed in any of the past three updates; we don't know when a fix will be released.
