Difference between "Save a copy as..." & "Back up Quicken File..."

Which is the better way to backup/save my Quicken files? is there a difference between when you would use either of these two options under the "File" menu: "Save a copy as..." and "Backup and Restore" --> "Back up Quicken File..."? Thanks

Save Copy As will let you give your data file another name. Like if you want to split it up like to give someone a copy. So you will have 2 files.

In my opinion, the better way of saving a manual backup from within Quicken is to use Ctrl + B. The file produced has the .QDF-backup filetype suffix and is therefore treated as read-only and restorable by Quicken. The file name and location is preserved for reuse and may be automatically date stamped.0

Thanks for the response. That's what I use (Ctrl+B). I just wondered how that's different than "Save a copy as..."0
