How can I download the number of shares purchased or sold from Quicken to Excel

I'm building an Excel file to calculate my average cost base for my investments given that Quicken for MAC doesn't do this. [removed - rant]

I'm downloading the different transactions types but the quantity doesn't seem to follow. Can I get this information somewhere or do I have to do this manually?

Thanks

I assume your are using File > Export > CSV from either an investment account or one of the investment group accounts (Investing, Brokerage, Retirement).

Have you verified that the Shares column is being displayed in the register (View > Columns > Shares).

Thanks for the note. I was using reports. I didn't realize I could download the register from File>Export>CSV.

Thanks for the help. Much Appreciated.
