Checks Printing with Incorrect Dates

I write weekly checks to the same payee for several months in a advance. When printing multiple checks to this same payee, only the date of the first check is appearing on each check.

    Edit > Preferences > Write checks. Un-check "Change date of checks to date when printed".

    Correction: Only today's date shows on each check. There should be different dates on each check.

    Wow. I would have never found that. I kept going into printing preferences. I wonder why that setting changed after years of use. Anyhow, THANK YOU!
