    • Cash Balance Column not updating

    I downloaded transactions from brokerage, and had to go back in time to enter discrepancies in number of stocks owned. But after getting all caught up, my cash balance won't update. For example, if I enter a cash dividend that I received, it won't update and continues to show N/A instead of adding the cash to my account. How can I get cash balance to update?

      Answer ✓
      That "N/A" suggests that there are placeholders within the Account. 
      Edit > Preferences... >  Investment transactions > tick "Show hidden transactions"
      You should be able to see any placeholders in the "Placeholder Entries" area below the transaction list.
