Refinancing an assest

Added New Car with attached loan in the past. Loan is refinanced. Is it possible create a new loan attached to the same asset?

    Answer ✓
    To reset the asset to the loan, open the asset account, press Ctrl + Shift + E, select the appropriate loan account in the pull-down menu and OK.

    Interesting, I should create the loan upfront, without assigning an asset, which not sure is possible either. Is it? Or should I create a liability and the link it to the asset?

    You may do it either way.
