Is there a way to manually update the register balance of a credit card?

Online Update totally messed up my Discover register when accepting downloaded transactions/matching to manually entered. :'(

    You can manually enter transactions into any account (except loans setup for downloading), you just have to make sure that if you subsequently download transactions, that Quicken matches them to the correct manually entered transaction(s).

    Well, that's the trouble. About half of Transactions did show as matched and I made mistake of accepting all and ended up with duplicates of everything. Ended up deleting dupes and then entering a balance adjustment. All is now well but I do thanks you for responding. :)
