How to change Quicken file type

I restored a backup file due to a problem. Worked fine. But, now the file name is preceded by "backup" and the file type identifies the file as a backup file, not a regular file. How do I convert this backup file (currently being used as my "Main" file) to a quicken data file, with the appropriate file type?

    Options
    Make sure that file is located in the \Documents\Quicken folder. If it's located in a \Backup folder or on an external backup drive use Windows File Explorer (with Quicken closed) to locate the file and copy it to \Documents\Quicken.
    Rename the file to what you'd like it to be, but not exactly equal to the name of the file with a problem. Rename the file type from .QDF-backup to .QDF
    When done renaming double-click the file to start Quicken and make it use the file. Quicken will remember the new file name and location from now on every time you start Quicken.
    In Quicken go into the File Menu. Look at the bottom of the menu popup. You will see a list of up to 4 recently used file names. The file marked "1" is the currently open data file.
    Please remember to use the File Operations / Backup and Restore process next time you have to restore a file. Be sure to select the destination folder and verify or change the file name as you prepare to restore it.
