How to save a Backup file to a different external drive ?

not the auto , a manual save to external drives

    Is the external drive mounted on your Mac? If so, you can do File > Save a Backup and select the destination location. Or you could quit Quicken and do a Finder copy of the file (option-drag it to the new location).
