How to get pre-assigned categories when uploading CC transactions?

in Download, Add/Update Accounts (Windows)
When I upload transactions to my Visa accounts (Chase, CitiBank), the payee is there (such as ABC Restaurant or Park Nursery), but there is no category assigned. I thought this function automatically assigned a default category (like "Dining" or "Landscape Supplies"). Instead, I am having to fill in the category and then memorize each transaction. Is that how this is supposed to work?

    Well if you want Quicken to guess at them make sure this Preference is on:


    Personally I don't like Quicken guessing especially after using Quicken for many years, and having almost every payee that I might want memorized the way I want.
