My online balance vs ending balance for credit card

My online balance is correct (-$xxx.xx), the ending balance for this CC shows a positive balance ($ XXX.XX). no pending transactions. Why is this?

  What TYPE of account is this?  In WHAT column is the "Opening Balance" transaction at the top of the account register?
