how correct account summary

checking register agrees with the bank and shows the correct total but the account summary missed one check. how to reconcile without changing data in checking log which is correct

    What is the "account summary" you are referring to? Is it the line of totals at the bottom of the account's register, the Accounts Bar, which is normally on the left side of your screen, the Account Overview accessible from the account's gear menu, or something else?

    yes, the account summary is on the left side of screen. As I said before the bank account register has the correct total which agrees with the bank. One large check which shows properly in the register is not accounted for in the account summary list How to correct account summary?.

    The account totals on the left (default setting) is referred to as the Account List Bar. There  are two settings available, Ending or Current Balance. You may want to see which you have and change to the other.
