imports

I have Quicken Starter as a bonus for buying Turbotax. I want to import 2 additional months of transactions from my bank checking account and credit cards. It seems that Starter won't accept any file format for import. If this is true, will an update to another version solve this? Would I have to pay full price or is there a discount for Starter users. I don't need the investment piece of this product. If this is not the right place to ask, please advise. Thank you.

Please elaborate. WHAT file format would Starter not accept? What financial institution produced the file? How did you try to import the file?

I found some misleading information that indicated the Starter Edition couldn't accept QIF or QFX imports. I think this was old information. I did produce export files from Chase and Amex that were accepted by Quicken after all. Thank you.0
