How do I extract a single bank account data from my Quicken file?

I have three separate bank accounts in my Quicken data file. One is a VA Custody file for my mother. I need to move this to a separate data file for VA reporting purposes. How can I do this?

I suggest you export the account as a QIF file and import the QIF file into a new Quicken file.
If you haven't already, you may want to review:

What kind of reporting do you need to do?
All reports in Quicken can be customized to only select data from a single (or list of selected) account(s). Once customized to your satisfaction, you can then save the customized report settings for next time you need to run another report.
