Freezing

When I change from Lot Identification to Average Cost, my computer freezes. I have the latest version of Quicken Windows Subscription. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Did you give it plenty of time to finish? If there are a lot of transactions, this could take several minutes.

    If you haven't rebooted Windows since you installed the latest software update, please do so now and then try Quicken again.
