Where do I even find the QFX file?

    Hello @aliceperryman2

Thank you for reaching out to the Community regarding your issue, although I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues finding your QFX file. While every website is different they generally will all share similar places to download the files. You should be able to click on the account itself and you may find a download/export transaction button. You could also find it in one of the dropdown menu's the FI has. The article down below goes over what it may look like when trying to find it on the website.

Once you get a chance to try these steps please let us know if you're able to find the download file.

    Thanks,

Note it is entirely possible that there isn't one.  Not all financial institutions provide a QFX file.

For instance I have a Synchrony Bank high yield savings account (and use to have a CD account) and they don't provide a QFX file.

In fact I did a bit of searching in this list:
    https://ofx-prod-filist.intuit.com/qw2800/data/fidir.txt

And I don't see and Synchrony entry with WEB-CONNECT (EXP-WEB-CONNECT is different).

And if you're asking "Where, on my computer, do I find a QFX file I downloaded from a bank"?
The location depends on settings in your browser.
Typically it's the Downloads folder, C:\Users\your_username_here\Downloads
