How do I add my house as an asset in Quicken

    Click on the + icon at the top of the sidebar, and choose to add an Asset Account:



    In the resulting dialog, you can enter in the value of your home as the opening balance.

    Note that the value of your house inQuicken will not change unless you go in and change the opening balance, or create a dummy transaction (using Category-Adjustment) to change the value up or down.
