Custom categories in the sidebar with total of the items in that category

I'd like to add custom sub-categories under the items like "Cash" / "Credit Card". Ideally they will also have totals for that custom category.

The other option would be completely custom categories that I place whatever accounts I choose.

    There is an existing Idea thread to allow customization of the the sidebar. The good news is that the developers have marked it "Planned". The bad news is that it was marked "Planned" two years ago, and they still haven't tackled it... and we don't know when they will. But it's apparently somewhere on the development roadmap, for what that's worth. ;)
