Should my data file be saving as qdata validate?

Just realized my data file is named qdata validate. Don't know when this started but it's more than 2 years ago. Shouln't it be saving as qdata? If so, how do I fix it? I'm running Win 10, 64 bit

    It can be any name you like.  If you don't like the name with Quicken closed go to the data file using Windows File Explorer and change the name, and then double click on it to open it in Quicken so that it knows the new name.
