Setting up accounts and says American Express bank not available

Does Quicken not support American express credit cards?

    Unfortunately, it seems Quicken is virtually the only personal finance app that doesn’t support automatic downloading of transactions directly from American Express. Virtually all of the other apps support this no problem. Not sure who quicken uses for their aggregation service but it can’t be that hard to add such a big credit card company to the list of supported institutions.

    Here is the Quicken entry - with all 3 downloading protocols for "credit" cards.
    Not sure how the /Canada/ aspect impacts your specific situation  -
    as there is no other specific entry for AMX /Canada/
