batch editing a category?

I'm sure I'm missing the obvious, but how do I specify a category for a recurring (and presently uncategorized) expense so that this change is applied to *all* such entries in my register -- not just the one I've edited. For example, I'd like to specify "utilities" for all entries associated with my power bill.

There is no Cntrl-H Find and Replace in QMac.
To change a category in a register for a certain payee, do this:- Click the magnifying glass, top right and choose payee from the dropdown menu
- Enter the payee name in the search box
- You can filter by Date, Type and/or Status if that would be useful
- Select All transactions (menu Edit > Select All)
- Click menu File > Get Info
- Enter the new Category and click OK.

Try using Find and replace (CTL-H) looking at payee, and then choosing replace category for the ones that show up.

I was hoping for something more user-friendly -- like when you edit a payee and Quicken gives you the option to apply the change to all past references to this payee. But thank you nonetheless!0

Hope that worked as I did not notice your post was for Mac. My answer was for windows.
