Quicken Update is a Problem

For the last few weeks, updating Quicken takes hours. I have rebooted my computer and it does not seem to help. It happened again today. Should I delete and reinstall the app?

    It is not clear whether you are referring to updating the Quicken software or updating your transactions in Quicken.
    Please clarify?

    Updating the Quicken software, not transactions.

    BTW, after one or two hours, the update occurred.
