What does the online balance reflect? Why are 3 different balances shown?
Morah 46
At the bottom of the check register, three different balances appear. One is with all the check amounts deducted, one is with the reconciled amounts ( I think) and what does the "online balance" reflect?

The Online Balance is the one that Quicken gets from the financial institution as part of downloading transactions. The other two are actually the current balance (the balance as of today), and the ending balance which is the balance of the last transaction in the register. Note you can right click on an empty space in the Account bar and select if you want to see the Current or the Ending balances.
