Every time I click on a property I own Quicken shuts completely down.

    Have you recently updated Quicken?  If so, sometimes the update doesn't fully install properly and rebooting the computer can sometimes fix that problem.

    It sounds like you have a problem with the integrity of your datafile.  I would suggest that you follow the guidance on the section titled "Fourth, Copy your file and Validate"  located at this LINK.
