    You can purchase a new subscription to add to your current one anytime from 6 months before your subscription expires. If you let the subscription expire, you will notice that Quicken steals about 20% of the right side of your screen for a persistent message to get you to renew, and you'll lose online services; as soon as you renew your subscription, it goes back to normal.
