Why can't I change split in Transfer reminder?

I created a Transfer reminder from an existing saved transaction, but I can't alter the split.

- if you click on Edit and then "
Edit this instance and all future instances
", you will get a setting and options box. In the middle of the settings, you should see this -
Just click on "Split" and it should take you to the screen where you can update the splits.

I never use a transfer reminder; it is too limited. You can only enter the from and to accounts, you can't enter a split transaction.
Instead, just use a Bill Reminder, and for a transfer put in the "to account" with the [Other Account Name] syntax.

is absolutely correct. There is no ability to have splits in a transfer reminder. I don't use transfer reminders myself and I do use bill reminders for transfers as he suggests.
