Change order of transactions (Q Mac)

Can I change the order of transactions?

Sometimes there are multiple transactions on a given day, the register will show some temporary negative or positive balances for each transaction. But by the next day all of them work out because all transactions have been recorded. Is there a way to order transactions in a single day- it's not a big deal- just curious. Thanks

    As you note, it's not a big deal since the end-of-the-day balance is the same no matter what order the transactions are in. But yes, you can manually re-arrange a transaction's placement within a day just by dragging it up or down to your desired spot and then releasing.
