I used Quicken 2013. Never had a Quicken ID. How do I upgrade with no account?

Formerly on a Win 7 Dell Precision 4800. Now on a Gigabyte Aero 17. I started wit Quicken 2008 then upgraded online to 2013. I have no disk with Quicken 2013 software. The new Quicken asks for a Quicken User ID. Never had one. It was never needed. Do I simple create one as a "new" user?

Do you mean you downloaded the current Quicken 2022 (subscription) and are trying to get going...
OR - are you trying to stay with Quicken 2013 -
OR - would you like to keep doing things manually, and download Quicken 2017 - prior to Subscription model ?

The Quicken User ID and password is the same you used on quicken.com to download the software.
