How to record purchase of Certificate of Deposit held under brokerage account?

Just trying to figure out how to record the purchase of certificates of deposit. Nothing obvious leaps out at me. The account is a Fidelity Investments Services brokerage account, non-IRA. I am using cash from my Fidelity Government Money Market Fund.

    Enter it as a Security of type CD.

    Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

    Actually, it was kind of nice to see a question that was not about a failed download or the issues stemming from the EWC+ rollout.
