Copy Transaction Categories

How can I copy a transaction category to other transactions? Will this also update sub categories? I am using Windows 10.

    Please explain more.  You can always change the category on any transaction.   

    I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

    If you select a range of transactions in a non-investment account register, you can right-click on the selection and select "Edit transaction" from the dropdown list.  From there, it is pretty self explained on how to replace the category in the selected transactions.
