Converting an asset account to a savings account

I have an asset account that I have been using as a savings account. I would like to convert it to a savings account so it will show up in the reports as such. So far, it won't let me do that. The next best thing is to set up a new savings account, then, transfer all transactions from the asset account into it. How would I do a mass transfer in that case?

Could it work by just transferring the balance to the saving account?  Especially since it's the new year.  You can include the Asset account in the reports.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

@Janet Berg. You should be able to highlight several transactions in the asset account using Ctrl-click and Shift-click, then Rt-click to get to a Move Transactions option that should  accomplish your goal. I’d select a few transactions to start so you can confirm the desired behavior. Backup first - just in case.
