What is the proper way to handle this?

In my savings account, when I show interest deposits, it is category IntEarned. In my investment accounts, it comes from nowhere. I would like it to be reflected in my IntEarned and DivEarned. I don't see an easy or proper way to handle this.

Investing accounts use the hidden Categories _DivInc and _IntInc for interest and dividends. It is best to un-hide these and not mess with them.
To make your IntEarned Category appear on Tax reports, you can edit it in the Category List and assign it an appropriate Schedule B Tax line item.QWin Premier subscription0 -
Thanks. I knew there had to be a simple fix!0
