Problems with securities holdings

Is anyone having problems when they do either a stock split or add/remove shares that the entry is in the register but the number of shares in holdings did not change to reflect the entry?

    I'm not having that problem, but the first thing I'd try is {Ctrl}-Z in the Account.  That will force Quicken to recalculate the share balances for all securities in the Account.  This could be a data corruption issue so you might want to try the Copy/Validate routing on the file.

    A Placeholder can prevent the share quantity from changing.
