Is there a way to edit the list of memorized categories? (Q Mac)

I have many categories with some that are duplicates and with small errors. when making reports if a category item is in two or three places (just slightly different spelling) the report is inaccurate.

    Yes, you can edit and merge categories. Click menu Window > Categories. Double click a category to edit the name. You can merge two categories by selecting them using standard Mac Command-Click and then clicking the Merge button at the bottom. Both categories must be at the same level in the hierarchy. You can move categories up or down in the hierarchy by dragging and dropping them.
