Buying Securities Does Not Decrease Cash Balance

Buying a money market fund does not decrease the cash balance in my account as I would like. How to fix? The money market fund is set up as a mutual fund.

    My first guess is that you have a placeholder involving the MM fund. Make sure your Preferences for investing are set to show hidden transactions. Delete the placeholder and resolve the difference if necessary.
