Payees & Rules

When I bring up the Payees & Rules/Payees window and select, in this case, "Costco", I get my Costco payee and also a "Amex Costco".

The Payees & Rules window does not have the "Show Hidden" box checked and the Amex Costco payee is from a closed and hidden file.

    Retract the above "problem". The Account Amex Costco is hidden BUT there is a long ago payment in the Checking account that refers to Amex Costco which why Amex Costco shows in Payees & Rules. I missed that payment in the checking register. Apologies for having posted in error.
