How to add CD
Version: Microsoft Windows (Quicken Home, Business & Rental Property)
I recently bought a certificate of deposit (CD), but was not able to add into my Quicken Account. How can I do that?
Thank you!

Add it like a savings account. Unless it's in a IRA or brokerage account. Maybe put the maturity date in the account name like CD 04/23/25. Or put the maturity date and interest rate in the memo line. Then it will probably be a Transfer from your checking or savings account to the new CD account.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

I'd record it in an investment acct … rather than its own separate acct
