downloading & re-installing Quicken Canada
I switched from an old Windows 10 laptop to a new Windows 11 laptop. I have reinstalled and uninstalled Quicken Quicken 3 times and each time Quicken has broken the network settings. One time even got a message saying that "Quicken could damage my computer". I need Quicken but before I reinstall Quicken any suggestions.

Q user since February, 1990. DOS Version 4

I don't know. I downloaded Quicken again but did not install.
Two files were downloaded at first
"Quicken-Canada.CO-H-Krh.exe.part"

When I looked again the "Quicken-Canada.CO-H-Krh.exe.part" disappeared.

There was no option to select a specific version.

From exactly where are you downloading Quicken? It sounds like you are downloading from some location other than being logged into Quicken's official site with your Quicken ID.
