Credit Card payment amounts (Q Mac)

I am paying off a couple of credit cards (auto pay) with a set amount each month. Quicken downloads the details of these accounts and tracks the outstanding balance. I have my monthly payment entered into a bill payment item in Bills & Income, but Quicken still overrides that amount with the total outstanding balance when it schedules the payment in my register. Seems like there should be a way to have the installment amount override the outstanding balance so it doesn't throw off my projected balances chart. Should I just un-hook the payment from the bank download?
