    What type of account?

    Are you sure that you are comparing apples to apples? The register might have both a Current balance and an Ending balance. The Account Bar can be set to show either balance which is decided by a setting when you right-click on white space in the Account Bar.

    Something changed with the last update. The account register balance is useless for budgeting now. It only adds up the totals of what your viewing (last 7 days, last 90 days, etc).

    How do we revert to the old account register balance display?

    Just figured it out. Had to "Clear Filters" for each account and then reselect "last 7 days" or whatever your preference is. The running balance is then correct.
