Can't turn off real time quotes

I keep unchecking Real Time Quotes in Preferences but it keeps coming back on. I find the pre-market quotes to be very wrong and incomplete and they seem to mess up the Daily Gain Loss calculations in the portfolio view.

How can I permanently turn them off?

    I have not seen others report this issue.

    What triggers the box getting re-checked? Is it checked if you click on OK in Preferences then return to Preferences? If you exit and restart Quicken? If you update the software? Randomly?
