Why does Wells Fargo require a code to my cell phone to sign in to update my account.

Recently, Wells Fargo requires a code to my cell phone to get the updates to my account in Quicken. This just started recently. No other bank requires this.

  That's called "Multi-Factor Authorization" and WF decided to require it. Only they can answer why.
