Posting of interest
Regarding Quicken downloads from Schwab:
Why does a Schwab interest payment on the cash portion of my account post as a Deposit, and a General Mills interest payment on a bond post as IntInc?
BOTH are a deposit of cash into my account. BOTH are Interest Income.

Well, if we simply use logic, I think we can come up with the cause.
Quicken's code isn't changing per transaction, given the same input you will get the same output.
That only leaves one possibility, for whatever reason Schwab is encoding the two transactions to send to Intuit (Quicken Inc's aggregator) and on to Quicken in a different way.
So, the only people that can answer this question would be a Schwab (Which I doubt you will ever find anyone that has that knowledge that will talk to you.).
