Why do Investment Accounts in Quicken Start Inputs At The Bottom While Bank Accounts Star At The Top

Hi,

I'm new to Quicken and was just wondering why in banking accounts the input for new transactions begin at the top, while in investment accounts they start at the bottom? I find this odd, but I'm wondering if there is a reason for it and if there is a way to change it for each account.

    The history is that both the banking accounts and the investment accounts had the newest/new entry at the bottom.

    Maybe 10 years ago or so they put in the feature that one can sort the banking accounts so that the newest/new entry is at the top. The investment accounts never got this feature.

    Note to have the newest/new entry at the bottom click the Date column header once (it toggles the sort order).
