Quicken Won't Update Share Amount

I have Quicken for Windows on my PC. It won't update the share amounts from my Vanguard IRA fund, although it does update the prices of the funds. It's stuck on 10/31/23 share amounts, but it's 12/24/23.

    More explanation please.

    "Share amounts" - number of shares - should be updated as transactions affecting the share amounts are entered. So it's unclear if the problem is that transactions affecting share balances aren't being entered in the Transaction list, or that they are being entered but share balances aren't updating.

    Is this a "downloading" problem or the more serious problem of transactions entered, but share balances don't change?
