why is investment transaction report blank field for currency?

the investment transaction report appears to be in canadian dollars, and you can select transaction exchange rate but the pull down for the currency is blank. the original transactions were in usd but you can't show the transactions in us dollars?

    When the added the new customize dialog they broke this in the old customize dialogs.

    I suggest that everyone that has this problem report it with Help → Report a problem.

    Note that I believe if you change to the new customize dialogs you can change the currency, but when I suggested that to another person that had the same problem, they said it didn't work for them, but I never understood exactly what the problem was.

    I might add that the new customize dialogs have other problems, so there isn't a "perfect setting".

    P.S. the organization setting right above the currency setting is messed up too.

    Hmm, maybe the Canadian version has got them yet???

    Do you see: Edit → Preferences → Early Access?

    Those settings are also now in the Canadian version. Those settings seems to default to UNchecked. I have not tried checking these boxes to see what behaviour/result that produces.

    checking that custom box seems to have fixed the issue with the blank dialog boxes for me…

    It has been long enough that I don't remember what the default was on the US side, but as I think of it, they probably started unchecked on the US version too. I was just curious about them when they came out.

    If I want to find out the

    • total stock purchases in the year in original and home currency
    • total stock sales in the year in original and home currency

    is this the report that I need to run?
