Re-establish Download for an Account Deleted in Quicken
I have a Citibank brokerage account that is dormant- it exists at Citibank but is just empty. I marked it as closed in a Quicken well over a year ago. Since there is no way to reverse that, I deleted the account and tried to add it back.
When I go to Add Account and log into Citi, the account is there, I check it approve access, but it never goes through. My other Citi accounts are just fine.
Am I doing something wrong? Does the account need to have a transaction in it? (The last transaction would be back in 2022.)

My guess would be that you aren't doing anything wrong. It is more likely that even though the account is being shown in the reauthorization page, Citibank isn't sending that information to Intuit because something farther down the line of their system knows that it is "dormant" and blocks sending it.
