mysterious acct?
Opening a saved report, then pop up Saved Report Alert, then showing new items and asking if want to add them. There a mysterious acct ACCT_11bea TYPE Bank showing. I cant find it and don't know what it is? First time I saw this today 8/31/24, I have Windows 10.

go into Account List and delete it…..there should be no transactions associated with this account in any event,

I have the same issue, starting a few days ago. Has a balance that changes each time I start Quicken. The account cannot be deleted or edited. When there is a transaction in the account, the transaction cannot be edited or deleted.
Quite frustrating.

AFAIK, accounts named ACCT_xxxx or TEMP_xxxx are leftovers from many years back when a bug during transaction downloading caused temporary accounts created while downloading not to be deleted when downloading completed.
There once was a fix available which made it possible to get rid of these accounts by running Validate (or was it Supervalidate? I'm not sure.)After creating a backup, run BOTH a Validate and a Supervalidate process on your Quicken data file. Afterwards, these accounts should either be gone or should be able to be deleted from either the Account List or the Category List.

WORKED !!!! THANKS!!!!
Only thing out of ordinary I did in past few days was manually put transactions in wrong account because I was tired then moved to correct account with move operation. Think that may have created that phantom acct that suddenly appeared.
