How is the yellow spending amount calculated ?

On the bar chart in Property and Debt there is selection reporting spending for that month. How is "spending" calculated for each month? My monthly spending is approx $ 2500.00 but the bar chart shows over $ 7000.00/month.

It is not "spending", it is listing accounts that are classified as spending accounts, such as checking, cash etc.

@galahad I agree with @bmciance. You're showing a Net Worth graph, not Income/Expense.
