Quicken Deluxe 2015

I have been using this product without any issues at all. I installed on a new laptop win 11. I restored the backup file from old PC. It takes my password but asks me for an Intuit user and password. I don’t think I ever had one but created it. The error I get is “an unknown error occurred. Please try to connect later”. Never had issues doing this before. Any help would be appreciated.

See this thread on installing QW2014-2017 on a different computer. The overall thread is quite lengthy, but I do believe the post that the link points to might be what you need to follow: Hopefully, the computer that you were using Q on is still up and running to get the files needed.

    Splasher thanks for your help.

I got it working. I replaced the Quicken folder from C:\ProgramData\Intuit on my old machine to my Windows 11 laptop, same folder and I was able to login. I had also moved any Quicken files that were in the document\quicken folder before but not sure if that mattered.

Glad to hear it worked for you. For future potential use, I would make a copy of that folder on some removable media in case your current harddrive died without a good backup of the whole thing.
